Research Interests
Our research primarily focuses on the interdisciplinary field of chemical biology, integrating chemistry and biology. We aim to develop and utilize small-molecule chemical tools—such as fluorescent probes, bioorthogonal chemical probes, and photo-crosslinking probes—to study the biological roles of active small molecules in living systems, investigate protein post-translational modifications and interactions, elucidate their relationships with disease pathogenesis, and ultimately provide new insights for disease treatment. We employ a multidisciplinary collaborative approach, including organic synthesis, biochemistry, cell biology, and proteomics, to achieve our research goals. We welcome graduate students and research assistants from diverse academic backgrounds to join us!
