Research Interests
Natural products are the products of coevolution with humans, and are the material basis for maintaining the common existence of animals and plants in the biosphere. The structural diversity, important biological activities and structure-activity relationship of natural products represent the special position of natural products in drug research and development. Therefore, natural products must play an important role in life sciences and new drug research and development. This research group carries out total synthesis research around complex natural products with important activities, and is committed to developing efficient and novel synthesis methodologies and applying them to the total synthesis of complex natural products and small molecule compounds with biological activities, so as to provide a research basis for subsequent biomedical research and new drug development. This research group provides a good research platform for young chemists who love organic chemistry and dare to discover and create beauty from organic synthesis. The research direction of the research group includes (a) new synthetic methodology project (b) synthetic project (c) chemical genomics project.
