Personal profile

Andrew Lee is currently an associate professor at the school of chemical biology and biotechnology, Shenzhen Graduate School, Peking University, and holds a joint position at the Shenzhen Bay laboratory Cancer Institute. He studied at Yale University as an undergraduate and received his MD and PhD from Stanford University. Subsequently, Andrew received medical residency training in the clinical pathology department of Stanford Hospital. During this period, he focused on the research of cell / gene therapy and realized the first clinical trial of cell / gene therapy. He has published more than 60 papers on the in-depth research of cell / gene therapy and promoting its entry into new clinical applications.

Andrew Lee's achievements in the field of cell / gene therapy research were published in nature medicine, Nature Biotechnology, nature biomedical engineering, cell, JAMA, circulation and other journals. According to Google academic statistics, he has been cited more than 9000 times with an H-index of 40. In addition, Andrew Lee's research has good application prospects and is supported by the American Heart Association, Howard Hughes Medical Research Institute and the world's top 10 pharmaceutical companies.
